Right... I need to start actually using this thing.  As an early birthday present my friend bought me a paid account, so that's an incredibly good incentive to use it.

I spent last week in Brisbane, Australia, which was really great.  I might post some photos sometime if anyone's interested.
The weather was awesome over there (especially since it is REALLY cold in Wellington right now), and I was lucky enough to witness a storm while I was there, complete with hail and FORK LIGHTNING.  I'd never seen fork lightning before in my whole life!  It was amazing to see.  I wish I could have gotten photos, but that would be near impossible. 

It is nice to be back in Wellington though, back in my flat and back to normal life.  Though it is reeeally cold... but I have my mink blanket to take care of that, and an electric blanket.

If anyone's wondering who the heck I am and why I added them as a friend - I am Chelz and I know you and probably used to be quite involved with you online but sadly we have drifted apart... but I really want to keep in touch with you.
